About
Ben is a genuinely nice horse who is working so beautifully at the moment. Always tries hard to please, he's a great horse to have around on the farm. A forward moving horse with big paces, Ben is a solid boy who requires someone with a bit or riding experience.
Not a spooky type, easy to take out on his own or with friends. Has been hacked out alone and with company, incredibly bold out on a trail. Good around farm machinery and animals, we've herded the sheep up off of him multiple times!
Basic laterals being established, including leg yields and shoulder in. Ben is a brave and honest jumper, easily schooling up to 90cm. Great to float and take out and about, same to ride at home as he is in new places.
Ben would be an ideal first young horse prospect for a confident rider wanting an easy-going mount. One that is ready to go out to Pony Club, Adult Riders, or even a small show now.

Health & History
Ben is up to date with vaccinations and worming. He is currently on a 6 week cycle with our farrier and is barefoot, we've never had any soundness issues with him.
He does have an old scar on his right hind which is completely cosmetic and doesn't bother him at all.
