Eddie has been a part of the Filipa Family for a while and is now looking for a gutsy rider to take him in whatever direction they would like! Eddie is a quick learner and very versatile.Don’t be put off by his size, he’s an absolute gentleman on the ground, not a single bit of dirt in him. Easy to handle in all aspects.

Training laterals, leg yields and shoulder in. This horse has massive paces and won’t be out of place in the dressage ring or eventing world. Beautifully floating trot and fantastic travelling canter. Jumping up to 80cm.

He has been out to a local training dressage day where he produced a nice first test. A bit tense but very willing and tried his hardest. Also attended a PC SJ comp where he successfully completed 3 rounds.

Been out and schooled at a local PC where he’s the same to ride as he is at home. Hacks out alone or with company.

Eddie will benefit from someone with light hands and seat, he is a big horse and has the paces to prove it.

He is currently out of work and looking for someone to be able to give him the time he deserves. A serious performance horse in the making.

Health & History

Eddie is up to date with vaccinations and worming. He is currently on a 6 week cycle with our farrier and is shod on his fronts, we've never had any soundness issues with him. He is regally seen by our physio/masseuse for maintenance.
